Sweet Blessings!!!!

This is adorable Lena-her Mom-Fujiko-Betsy's friend-was in a horrific car accident in Idaho(July 4th weekend maybe)-was expected to be paralyzed and was just transferred (finally she had been on a waiting list) to Craig Rehabilitation Hospital in Denver-in one day and she has made strides. Imagine this ~she is miniature-maybe 90 lbs.-broke her neck-had a stroke-broke arms & legs and has been able to talk in a whisper and today was actually able to take applesauce-she has been on a feeding tube and before that a ventilator and respirator-she is truly a miracle in the making.
Little Lena is only two and she has a brother-they have been so brave going from family to family-whoever can watch them. How lucky we are to have Craig Hospital in Denver! Prayers and Blessings to Fujiko and her family!

When we arrived at Onset Beach for the boat ride a boat had just sunk in the harbor-must have been a surprise to the four men in it-even more surprising is you could stand up in the water-looked pretty silly!

Boy ENERGY ++++++

We saw Despicable Me at a movie theater that served food ~quite a concept!
This is how the dogs are coping with the boys around!
We did a 20 mile bike ride AND yes I mean WE!!! I hope to get a star or halo besides my bottom being totally numb! Looking forward to doing the bike path again in the fall-falling leaves vs. 87 + humidity!

A typical day with the boys is grueling -we can do 3 major activities in a snap! Lordy-what we do in a day with the boys we usually do in a week with the girls AND nobody wants to get their nails done!
I don't have pics of us playing basketball -where I (almost) ruled until a !@#$%^& neighbor boy ~NOT BRENNAN~said I couldn't play because I was too old! Wiped his little butt right off the court! Hmmm did I take that personal~NOOOO~ I did it for all the Nanny's of the world~can you spell DENIAL! :~) I am only 40-23!AND after this week you can add several numbers to that!

Soooooooo now I am looking for lids! So clever!
The restaurant is authentic Norther Italian cuisine-soooooo good and the plus for me is they have gluten free pasta!! The name of the restaurant is Osteria La Civetta-133 Main Street Falmouth,Ma. It's fabulous! Plus they have these cute little owls here and there! That won me over even before the food!

Dog Days of Summer!

What no walk? Are you kidding me?
There is something terribly wrong with this- 100 degrees in the shade!!!!!!
