My sister Nancy and her husband ~Steve Fisher :) were in town so of course we had to do our favorite Italian restaurant where Steve had Lobster along with "many" other things-somebody was VERY happy!

We had stormy weather so we did a lot of reading on the window seat and playing cards(Nancy & my Steve)

We also drove over to Chappoquoit Island that says DO NOT ENTER-PRIVATE-Nancy & I drove through and included some of the pics! WOW! In my next life! AND these are just summer homes!!!!

Okay so the Rockies didn't win-darn but do I dare say (who reads this) Boston got their butts (Nanny that's a bad word)beat this weekend-Red Sox's lost-Patriots lost-Bruins lost and heard something about the Celtics :~X !
Just kind of nice to see them FOR ONCE not win everything!

Had the house appraised here yesterday for refi and the guy was trying to say we may have over-improved the kitchen-after I convinced him there was not such a thing in my world we agreed to disagree. Steve was like What? What? I told him-he said he LOVED our kitchen!:~)

A beautiful cool(but not snowy) day at the Cape!

Wow,wow, what a sports day.

Our friends the Dursts visited from Colorado via North Conway,New Hampshire where they went leaf peeping and had 16 days of rain-came to the Cape and it was perfect-although a bit chilly.

We started out on a walk on the bike path by the water-came home to a call from my sister who was already in Boston on business AT the Red Sox game-(SHUT UP) in a luxury box!!!! Only to tell us that if they had won yesterday she had tickets for us tonight so we proceeded to watch,yell scream & pout for the next ? HOURS(me who NEVER watches baseball) Okay so that obviously didn't work :~( Then we got to watch the Broncos win in overtime against Boston!YES!!!! My revenge was pure! THEN I got to watch Peyton-wonderful and before we knew it @ 10:00 the Rockies were on! OMG-LOL- whatever whatever- I went to bed at 10:30 thinking they may make it.

I am writing this before the game today because who knows the outcome and I am still tired. Our friends left this AM-I have already had one nap-having another friend tomorrow and my sister and her husband are here Wednesday!

The good news is that my sister has promised an "in" for the Red Sox game-Lordy when I found out I about fainted, I assumed a VP ,blah blah blah-A BARTENDER(female)she met gave her the tickets soooooo my "in" is now a bartender!!! GO ROCKIES-please!

Another Baby Boy!

Wow-we are on a roll here. Tiff & Kris just found out they are having a boy and Mary Kay and Matthew (of Candyce & Bob) just HAD their bouncing baby boy-WELCOME THEODORE MATTHEW- weighing in at 9 lbs. 15 oz. Thank heavens they had a c-section. Everybody is doing very well! This is Candyce's 5th grandchild and we know more to follow! CONGRATULATIONS!

Well after hours on this computer trying to figure how the heck to download clipart ~and what the heck that is - I randomly found,don't even ask how -some adorable pics to celebrate Tiff & Kris(of Dan & Gayla) that they are having a BOY-just found out today. Luckily there is such a thing as ultrasound because this poor boy would have a ton of pink clothes if it had been left up to his Mom and myself. So all us girls are gearing up for baby boy DeCola-debut Feb 16th(ish)!
